The software makes it easy to adjust a photo's lighting, sharpness, white balance, saturation, contrast, and more. And unlike most similar products, it doesn’t have to apply fixes and effects to the whole image, but lets the user decide what part of an image should get the treatment, using control points. Snapseed also offers a wealth of image enhancements, such as 'grunge,' 'tilt shift,' 'drama,' and 'vintage films,' similar to the popular Instagram iPhone app.
After tweaking is done, the software makes it easy to send images to popular photo sharing sites like Flickr, Facebook, and Twitter, or users can simply email or print their photographic art.
